Diversify our individuality

Posted by Hye EunWoo on

We are all born as unique individuals with our own personalities. However, instead of preserving this individuality, society forces us into uniformity, compelling us to conform and ultimately trapping us in a state of stagnation and submission, devoid of growth and evolution. I strongly oppose this. The reason I recognize the delicate nature of human emotions is that my own emotions are just as sensitive. When society suppresses these emotions and discourages empathy, reducing human existence to a singular pursuit of money, can we truly call this the model of a 21st-century human?

While it may not be possible to fully preserve every individual’s uniqueness, I believe we need an educational approach that encourages as much individuality as possible. It is this diversity, when nurtured, that can truly enrich capitalism and allow humans to retain their intrinsic value as human beings. However, the current reality is moving in the opposite direction. This contradiction inevitably leads to repeated periods of stagnation.

Now, we are entering an era where artificial intelligence is taking over simple labor jobs. It is time for humans to be reborn as beings with rich emotions and distinct individualities-true, authentic humans.
